The Nash Hotel was in one word a great hotel. I liked the breakfast, the room was very nice and contemporary, great decorations, design choice, color scheme and the hotel looked modern. It was neat, clean and fresh. For anyone considering staying here you must be willing to consider the following. It is not near the Hermitage or Neiskiy Prospeckt. It is located on Vasileosevky island and one stop one the metro from Nieskiy. From Vasileoskaya metro station it is an eight minute walk. Before you go try to pull up a map of the area and get a feel of where the hotel lies in relation to the metro. We toured both moscow and st Petersburg and used public transportation exclusively. From our hotel to the Hermitage will take you about 30 minutes door to door (walk, metro, walk). Metro was 25 rubles (1 dollar) per person one way. We walked from our hotel to the Marinsky Ballet Theater about 20 minutes, across one of the bridges.

We enjoyed the hotel, the great breakfast, the decor, the modern and cleanness of it. The staff were helpful. The hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of main street. A Russian grocery store was nearby. No scenery from the room. Again you have to be willing to walk to get around town if you stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who are adventorous, who can brave the crowds on the street as you make your way to and from your hotel and on the metro. Who want to be away from the touristy areas and in an area where daily Russian life can be observed and appreciated. Lots of good restaurants near the metro (10 minute walk). We got to the airport from our hotel in about one hour (walk, metro, bus) for about 75 rubles ($3) per person. From Vasileovskaya metro station (change at Gostiny Divor) take it to moscovkaya metro station on the blue #2 line, get off and go upstairs crossing under the underpass to street level and catch the k-13 bus to Pulkovo airport (27 rubles for the bus fare and 20 rubles for luggage per person). The bus ride is 10-12 minutes. Terminal 2 is for international travel. It was easy and cheap.

The room was clean and comfortable, and they provided fresh towels and water bottles every day. The location was good, just a short walk to the metro station and a shopping area. It was also a nice quiet neighborhood to relax in.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with limited options and not much variety. , the staff at the restaurant were not very friendly or helpful.

Brilliant hotel not far from historical center of the city. Very fresh and nice looking rooms. Very cozy and hospital. Recommend for everyone who wants excellent service and good location for not much money.

During our stay at the hotel, we had a wonderful experience. The staff at reception were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and their English language skills were excellent. They went above and beyond to help us navigate the city, providing valuable information on public transport options. We were able to easily explore the city and its surroundings, thanks to their assistance. Our standard twin room was spacious and well-lit, offering a comfortable stay. Although the beds were a bit narrow, we still found them cozy. The hotel is conveniently located, with shops, a cafeteria, and restaurants nearby. Additionally, the breakfast items were fresh and you could even request eggs.

Staff was very helpful, esp Olga and Sergei from the reception. Also I had a very nice surprise on my anniversary.

Not sure the air conditioning capacity is enough (but we may have experienced some of the hotest days cca 30C, which may not be usual for St Petersburg). Also waiting time at the resturant was very long, but the food was good.

Kind stuff, lovely interior. Parking costs 200 rub. per 24 hours. Good restaurant. It is possible to order the food (which is really tasty) even at night.

1.There is a problem with getting from the Hotel to the centre at night as the bridges are drawn from about 2 AM till 5 AM. 2.There are approximately no places to go at night, but McDonalds and PizzaHut.

The location was reasonably good and free wifi was very helpful. Breakfast included was also good value for a Russian city.

We were charged a registration fee on exit (500 rubbles) which I was told was necssary for customs, but this did not happen in Moscow and it was never requested by anyone. I had paid for a Russian invitation before going which listed the hotels (purchased online). If I needed this while I was in St Petersburg then I should have had it at arrival I guess. Anyway thought it was odd and not justified. I would have also tought a 4 star hotel would have had tea/coffee making facilities, a bath and shower and a iron in the room. They did offer a drink on arrival and iron was provided with 5 minutes of request when sought.

I had a very pleasant stay at a quiet boutique hotel located in a charming area of the city. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, providing us with a warm welcome drink upon arrival. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities such as a kettle and daily water bottles. The breakfast offered a varied selection, including salmon and made-to-order omelettes. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel also provided reliable and efficient transportation services. I would highly recommend this friendly small hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

its too far away from the city, to St Issaca 2km, the hermitage 3km, the weather when I was there was sunny hesven forbid if its wet, its not well located I wouldnt recommend on that basis Also the hotel is noisey, unfortunately most people in hotels now think they need to slam the door to make sure its closed, the noise from this reverbartes across the whole hotel, it was a mare, people doing this at 2.30am, disaster for trying to get sleep. Its a modern style hotel where the noise in the building spills all over. I read a review and its said quiet hotel, it isnt and had I know I wold never have stayed here. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone but breakfast was goood and the staff do bend over backwards to help, but the 2 points above I would not advise anyone to stay here

The rooms were very nice and the people at the front desk were helpful for the most part. Overall, it was a very comfortable hotel to be in.

The staff at the restaurant was very slow at replacing the items that were running out. For example, there would not be any plates for 15 minutes or glasses to drink for 10 minutes. This also happened with some food items during my stay.
